Education Related Experience:
·       2015-Present  Clinical Teacher – 3rd grade General Education – Degan Elementary School – LISD; 5th grade ELA and Social Studies/ESL - Central Elementary School – Lewisville ISD. 
·       2011-2015  Instructional Teacher Aide – Lillie Jackson Early Childhood Center -  Lewisville ISD. I am responsible for supporting the teacher, maximizing their ability to educate and guide in both special ed and gen ed classrooms. This includes understanding the existing materials as well as the new lessons that will be taught.
·       2008-2011  Substitute Teacher - Lewisville ISD. As a Substitute Teacher, my responsibilities were to provide instruction, manage the classroom environment, and promote student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
·       2004-2010  Pre-Kindergarten Teacher - First Baptist Church Lewisville Child Development Center.  As pre-K teacher my duties were to create/execute lesson plans, classroom prep, and prepare four and five year olds for the Kindergarten setting.

Additional Work Experience:
·       1998-2000  Public Program and Volunteer Coordinator at The Science Place at Fair Park Dallas.  As the Public Program Coordinator I planned/executed/taught informal educational programs for/to the public.  As the Volunteer Coordinator it was my job to recruit volunteers of all ages and teach them the Public Programming for The Science Place exhibits and programs.
·       1996-1998  Educator/Curator of the Texas Maritime Museum in Rockport, Texas.  My duties there were to plan/execute/teach informal educational programs for/to the public as well as plan/build/display exhibits that pertained to maritime issues in Texas.  While at the Texas Maritime Museum I was able to work on the LaSalle Shipwreck and other exciting exhibits.
·       1994-1996  Executive Director of the North East Texas Rural Heritage Museum and Depot in Pittsburg, Texas.  As the Executive Director my duties included:  grant writing, public programming, public speaking, school liaison, historical interpreter, and exhibit design.

Activities:
·       2013-2015  School Safety Committee – Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center – LISD.  As a member of this committee I was instrumental in creating and writing an all school safety procedure manual.  As a member of this committee I was issued a FEMA certification in Incident Command System for Schools and attended the 2015 Region 10 School Safety Summit
·       2013-present Association of Texas Professional Educators, Student Member
